We help Music Users to use music legally in Jamaica.
You need a JACAP licence to legally use copyrighted music for commercial and/or promotional purposes and all types of entertainment events.

“To be at the forefront of the development of Jamaica’s music industry: ensuring optimum returns for our members – composers, authors and publishers – and increased economic benefits for the nation equal to the worldwide popularity of cultural and creative products.”
“To become the leader in the business of collective management of copyright by providing superior quality service to our members, our regional and international affiliates and our customers.”
JACAP is a duly registered company in Jamaica and operates under the provision of the Copyright Act that assures authors and owners of original musical, dramatic or artistic works certain exclusive rights over the use of their works. These rights means that for any use of the work, permission or a ‘licence’ has to be sought from the copyright owner who is entitled to a royalty payment.
