Music industry icon Jade Lee is a major player in the Jamaican music industry who has been intimately involved in stage show production, marketing and artiste management for several years. Over the years, she has diversified her business interests, launching a number of successful business ventures such as Arm Bands Plus, Jamaica’s leading wristband and event ticket printing company, and, being the franchise-owner of two Western Union locations and Cambio branches in Kingston and St. Catherine respectively. And, last bust certainly not least, her latest passion, a little bit of construction wonderfully blended with the most amazing décor and style.
However, it is the role she has played in the music industry which makes her such a prominent figure in Jamaica today. A whirling hurricane of energy, the diminutive and beautiful Jade Lee is known for her no-nonsense business approach, her tireless work ethic and her results-oriented forward planning which has helped to launch and sustain the careers of industry giants.

She played an instrumental role, working with Jeremy Harding, to help launch Sean Paul’s career, plotting his meteoric rise to the top of international charts in 2003.
Sean Paul signed with Jade in 1998 and she worked as his booking agent, publicist and marketing agent until she resigned in 2005 to take a sabbatical from the business. She has also worked as the spokesperson and agent for the prestigious Gee Jam Recording Studios, in Portland Jamaica. Some of her International projects include, booking Destiny’s Child on the International Jamaican Festival, Reggae Sumfest, and Hosting DMX’s Birthday Party in Jamaica and touring Snoop Dogg in the Caribbean.

In 2005, Jade took a sabbatical from the music business to spend more time with her children and family. “It was a delicate time for my children. I thought they just needed ‘mommy’, the home-cooked meals and the Sunday dinners. I wanted to just be that PTA mom. “The international travelling and just the business in general, were taking me away from my family far too much; and being a single mom I had to make a choice. I chose my Family,” she said.

While away from the music industry Jade never lost touch or the love for music. And, although she continued to build her other businesses, her passion was the business of music. Jade was missed in the business! She was aggressively encouraged by her peers to return to the business.

In 2009, she returned, immediately signing to management female recording Artiste singer/singer writer Denyque, and music legend Nadine Sutherland and agent for Billboard chart-topper Cherine Anderson.

Jade is a family person. She and her four children can be spotted out from time to time at an event. One is not quite sure who the kids are and who is the mom. She takes home-time seriously, sit-down dinners and family worship is a must. And, if you’ve ever been a guest in Jade’s home, you would know how easy it is to just fit in as “family”.

She’s a warm home-maker, an ardent business woman, a caring mother, a compassionate boss, a devoted friend, an elegant and classy woman who is committed to excellence and passionate about life!
